Intermediate Players Course

The Intermediate Players Course was designed specifically to nurture young rugby players with raw talent. For male players typically aged 13-15 years old, suitable participants will have shown signs of promise and ability for their age.

The Intermediate Players Course covers the following aspects:

  • Mental skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Core skill development and general rugby intelligence
  • Goal setting
  • Introduction to video and match analysis
  • Basic rugby nutrition
  • Strength and conditioning
  • Injury prevention and recovery regimes

Participants receive position-specific tuition, which focuses on developing the core technical skills required for their position. Each player also receives a customised strength and conditioning programme that will enhance their performance.

In this day and age, players seeking a career in rugby need to focus on development from an early age to give themselves the best chance of playing professionally. The Intermediate Players Course was tailor-made to kick-start the player development process - and assist young players realise their potential and create themselves a path into professional rugby.

Course fees include accommodation and food. Costs of travelling to the course facility are not included.
